The PISH online course is an interactive self-study resource for university teachers and lecturers. The course is available free of charge.

This course will introduce you to the concepts of intercultural communication and STEM. You will also learn about the most typical challenges that occur when students from different countries work together: collaboration skills, language barrier, stereotyping and prejudice, and cultural differences.

Each unit features the following elements: a warm-up activity, a video introduction, a quiz, reading suggestions, and a classroom challenge.

At the end of the course you will have a better understanding of how to facilitate team work in diverse classrooms. You may document your learning journey in the intercultural teaching portfolio. To learn more about the portfolio, check out these instructions.
